Our MagFrames are designed with a magnetic wall mounting system that makes it simple to display your photos beautifully, without nails, screws, or complicated measuring. Each frame connects magnetically to a thin metal wall sticker, giving you a secure hold with the flexibility to adjust your frame for perfect alignment.

Because every wall is different, we offer two mounting options: our Standard Magnetic Wall Mount and our 3-Layer Wall Protection System.

The difference is the balance between strong wall adhesion and extra wall protection.

Why We Offer Two Mounting Systems

Wall stickers have to do several important things at the same time.

They need to stick strongly enough to hold your frame safely on the wall. They need to be removable later with as little risk to the wall as possible. And they need to give you the flexibility to move, adjust, and reuse your gallery wall over time.

That is one of the biggest benefits of our magnetic mounting system.

Both mounting options are designed so the wall mount itself can be carefully removed, reused, and repositioned. This means you can move your frames to a different room, adjust your layout, refresh your gallery wall, or even take the system with you if you move.

The frames are also repositionable on the magnetic mount, making it easy to straighten, align, and fine-tune your display without starting over.

That sounds simple, but walls are not always simple.

Paint quality, wall texture, primer, humidity, dust, age of paint, surface material, and previous wall repairs can all affect how any adhesive performs. A sticker that works perfectly on one wall may behave differently on another.

That is why we give you a choice.

You can choose the mounting system that fits your wall, your home, and what matters most to you: stronger direct adhesion, added wall protection, or the flexibility to remove, reuse, and reposition your display when life changes.

Option 1: Standard Magnetic Wall Mount

Our Standard Magnetic Wall Mount uses a strong adhesive-backed white metal wall sticker. The sticker attaches directly to your wall, and the magnet on the back of your MagFrame holds the frame securely in place.

This is our strongest direct-to-wall mounting option and is ideal for smooth, solid, fully cured painted walls and other suitable hard surfaces.

Important to know:

The standard wall sticker is designed to hold securely. Because of that strong hold, extra care is important during removal. On suitable walls and with proper installation, it is a reliable and clean mounting solution. However, because wall condition is outside our control, there is always some risk with any strong adhesive product, especially on delicate, weak, or poorly painted surfaces.

Option 2: 3-Layer Wall Protection System

Our 3-Layer Wall Protection System adds an extra protective layer between your wall and the metal wall sticker.

Instead of placing the metal sticker directly onto the wall, you first apply a protective leaf to the wall. The metal mounting plate is then attached to the protective layer, and your frame connects magnetically as usual.

This system is designed for customers who want extra peace of mind when removing the mount later.

Important to know:

The 3-Layer Wall Protection System adds extra wall protection, but the installation steps matter. The wall must be clean, dry, and dust-free, and the protective layer must be pressed flat with no air bubbles or creases. If the surface is dusty, textured, or not properly prepared, the mount may not bond as strongly.

Which System Should You Choose?

Choose the Standard Magnetic Wall Mount if your wall is smooth, solid, fully cured, and you want the strongest direct adhesion.

Choose the 3-Layer Wall Protection System if your wall is more delicate, you are renting, your paint quality is unknown, or easy removal is your biggest concern.

Both systems work beautifully in most homes when installed correctly. The difference is simply what you want to prioritize:

Suitable Wall Surfaces

For best results, use our magnetic mounting systems only on clean, smooth, solid surfaces.

Recommended surfaces include:

Smooth, fully cured painted and primed walls
Tile, Glass, Metal, Laminate or Sealed wood

We do not recommend applying the wall stickers to textured or uneven walls, freshly painted surfaces under 30 days, unprimed walls, weak or peeling paint, chalky or dusty paint, wallpaper, vinyl wall coverings, brick, concrete, or specialty wall finishes.

When in doubt, test first in a hidden area or choose the 3-Layer Wall Protection System for added protection.

How to Install the Standard Magnetic Wall Mount

1. Clean the wall

Wipe the wall with a soft, lint-free cloth so the surface is clean, dry, and dust-free.

This step is important. Dust, oils, or wall residue can reduce adhesion.

2. Peel the backing

The white metal wall sticker is already attached to the magnet on the back of your frame. Peel off the protective backing to expose the adhesive side.

Keep the metal sticker attached to the frame magnet while peeling.

3. Press into place

Hold the frame exactly where you want it on the wall. Gently press the frame against the wall for 10–20 seconds.

The white metal wall sticker will attach to the wall in the correct position.

4. Adjust your frame

Once the metal sticker is on the wall, your frame attaches magnetically. You can make small adjustments to get the perfect height and alignment.

How to Install the 3-Layer Wall Protection System

1. Clean your wall

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to remove dust and particles. Wipe in one direction to ensure the surface is clean.

The wall must be clean, dry, and dust-free for proper adhesion.

2. Prepare the protective layer

Peel off the backing from the protective leaf and prepare to apply it to the wall.

3. Apply the protective leaf

Press the protective leaf firmly onto the wall from the center outward. Make sure all edges are flat with no air bubbles or creases.

For best results, use a flat object, such as a card, to smooth it out.

4. Attach the iron sheet

Remove the backing from the iron sheet. Place it in the center of the protective leaf and press firmly.

5. Mount your frame

Align your MagFrame with the magnetic wall mount and let it snap into place. Adjust as needed for the perfect look.

How to Remove the Standard Wall Sticker Safely

Removal is one of the most important steps.

To reduce the risk of wall damage, do not pull the sticker straight out from the wall.

Start at one edge and remove the wall sticker slowly and firmly, pulling parallel to the wall. Keep the pull low and close to the wall instead of pulling outward.

Take your time. Slow removal gives the adhesive the best chance to release cleanly.

Because every wall is different and beyond our control, Evergreen & Birch cannot be responsible for paint, wall or surface damage after removal of the white metal wall stickers or are used on unsuitable surfaces. If you are unsure about your wall surface, we recommend testing on a hidden area first or selecting the optional upgrade 3-Part Wall Protection System.

Extra Tips for Best Results

• Always clean the wall before installing.
• Make sure painted walls are fully cured before applying any adhesive.
• Avoid textured, dusty, weak, peeling, or uneven surfaces.
• Press firmly during installation so the adhesive bonds properly.

For delicate walls, rentals, or unknown paint quality, choose the 3-Layer Wall Protection System.

For the standard mount, remove slowly and pull parallel to the wall.

If you plan to reuse or reposition your wall stickers, keep the adhesive side protected whenever it is not on the wall. Dust and dirt are the biggest reasons a reusable wall sticker can lose strength over time.

If you saved the original protective film, place it back over the adhesive after removal. If you no longer have the original film, a clean piece of oven parchment paper can be used as a temporary protective cover.

Each time a wall sticker is removed and reused, small amounts of dust or particles can reduce its stickiness. For best results, always apply it to a clean, dry wall and protect the adhesive side when it is off the wall.
